Moral Compass

I found this article very intriguing. Lytle says, "Just as spectacularly as great leadership can spark success, failed leadership can bring down cities, businesses, and economies." I think many people lose sight of what it means to be a leader. Disasters in leadership tend to result from those leaders lacking integrity and character. Stephen Covey summarizes leadership qualities best by saying, "Leadership is not position. It's moral authority. Moral authority comes from following universal and timeless principles like honesty, integrity, treating people with respect." This is just a little reminder about what it means to be a great leader.

Thanks & Gig'Em!
